Bringing the Rendang Burger back in a way that rekindles excitement, resonates with both loyal older fans and younger audiences, and taps into local pride without feeling outdated or repetitive.

We turned a national habit into a hook: in Singapore, we don’t say “no”—we say “next time la.” But with limited-time burgers, there is no next time.

Riding the viral wave of Chinese-style micro-dramas, we launched BK’s first original series: No More Next Time?! Bite-sized episodes followed quirky characters hilariously putting off their shot at the Rendang Burger… until it was too late. 

By combining a local habit, a popular video format, and relatable storytelling, we made a familiar burger feel irresistible—and ensured everyone knew they had to try it before it was gone.
